My old Wizard 8500 mat cutter died on me about a year ago and I decided to buy a Wizard 9000 to replace it rather than repair/rebuild it. I'm not sure what's wrong with it, and I really don't want to take the time to figure it out. Wizard offered me $2K off the purchase of my new machine for it when I upgraded, but I didn't take them up on that offer. From what I've seen and heard, this machine is worth anywhere from $5-7K in good working condition. I know mine's not worth that because it needs repairs, but I think it's worth more than $2K. It will come with everything it needs to work, including the PC, but will need an air compressor. Anyone out there looking for a Wizard machine that needs some TLC? I'm in the market for a good underpinner and would be open to trade offers for a quality underpinner. I'd also consider trade offers for length moulding.

What happened when it stopped working?

funny noises
a crash
stopped when cutting
did not start cut
gantry went out of control
only moved in one direction

I located an underpinner & need to make room for it. I've turned into Monty Hall. Let's make a deal! Anybody in the Philly/NJ/NY/DE/MD area looking to revive this workhorse?
