For Sale: Used Esterly SpeedMat 3240 (32" x 40") in good condition
Price: $900
Location: Portland, Maine
Condition: Lovingly used; in good condition. User manual included.

The Esterly Speed-Mat mat cutter is a space-saving wall-mounted multi-material cutter used to cuts mats, foamboard, glass, and more. It really is the go-to machine when it comes to precision, flexibility, and ease of use. Great for matting artwork or as a photo mat cutter.

Made of lightweight aluminum and a warp-free honeycomb interior, the Esterly SpeedMat includes a 45° knifehead for squares and rectangles and 2-to-8 ply mats, and a 40" sizer for mat, glass, and foam core, etc.

Used for about 5 years in a very small custom picture framing shop. Since moving from the shop years ago, I have been holding onto this beautiful piece of equipment for odd jobs. I hardly use it anymore and would love see it go to a good home. Great for small galleries and frame shops, artists, photographers, and makers of all kinds.

Ok... not really related to your post but... who do you fancy yourself more like.... Calvin or Hobbs????

I miss that comic so much!!!

Now a bit more related.. I once had one I got from a closed framer and ended up selling it (cheaply) to the Farnsworth Museum. You might try looking into museums down your way in case it doesn't sell... possibly donating and getting a write-off on your taxes.

Thanks for the info re donating. Hoping to sell it so I can buy some new woodworking tools. Regarding Calvin and Hobbes -- I feel like a mix of both! How about you?
