One of our local artists is Don Munz, who used to live in California, and who is a terrific artist. He's one of the few artists whose work sells well, and he's quite well-recognized in California, as a state award-winning artist.

I just found out his work is sold through the Artaissance program. Anyone out there have success with his pieces?

Artaissance - Don Munz

Ted,

We sell at least one order a month with Artaissance, but to date have not sold any of the Don Munz images (5) that are available. I must say that they look really rich!

How do you generate interest?

How do you market Artaissance to your customers? I think it is a great concept I just have not been able to generate much interest. We have signage and samples up. When someone inquires we give them a postcard that LJ did that has the Artaissance web site and our info on it, so they have something to take home but as far as I know no one has bought anything. We always tell them about the free shipping and that they can get a sample. Not sure what else I should be doing.

Frame Gal,

It sounds like you are doing it all correctly. We did print our own flyer/stuffer with our direct domain url on it. This was originally a mailing piece, but we have found that this is a good tool to reinforce a customer discussion on the program. We had this to them after and while we are discussing the size, medium benefits of the program.

We very often will take a customer over to our oversized monitor and walk them to the website. and show them the great SEARCH parameters that exist on the site. After an easy experience in the shop, they are more apt to revisit when they get home.
