I'm looking into getting a canvas stretcher. I would like it to have pneumatic clamp. I will mostly stretch up to 24"x36" but I'd like to have capacity for larger sizes also. Which canvas stretching machines do you folks like? Which ones do you dislike?

I have the Gallery Stretcher 60 for 10 years now. I really like it and have had no problems with it.
There have been several times I could have used the larger model for panos but this size enables 95% of my needs.
They have made improvements over the years so I am told.

I've had a Join Rite now for about 8 years and haven't found anything that I can't stretch with it and it is nearly indestructible. It doesn't have pneumatic clamp but the clamping system with the Join Rite is consistent across the whole side that your are stretching so you get a nice even stretch. You can use it as a standard side staple or a gallery wrap. The best part is that they are less than a 1/3 the cost of most pneumatic stretchers I have seen/priced. By the way, there is a 60" Join Rite for sale in the commercial section of the Grumble right now.
