This is the official reservation thread for the world famous Chinese Dinner and Limo Extravaganza at the 2012 WCAF/PPFA show/convention. I will update who is on the reservation list based on receipt of your reservation form and checks. International guests may follow the instructions on the form to hold tickets for pick-up the night of the event. The limos will depart from the Mirage (exact meeting location to be determined) at 7:30 PM. The cost is $20 per person for limo transportation. Limo tickets are not refundable - but once purchased, if you can't use yours you may be able to find someone to purchase it from you at the show. For those who have never joined us before- ALL are welcome - framers and their employees and vendors! We ride in the largest limos available and will limit the number of people to 25 per limo. At this point, we will use two limos to get to the restaurant so we all arrive at approximately the same time - and then will have one limo making two return trips so those who have an early class or want to get back early can do so on the first return limo. If we exceed 50 people, I will start a waiting list and we my add a third limo - but there has to be enough people over 50 to make it cost effective. So get your reservation in ASAP. There is a check box on the reservation form if you know you want to go back on the first limo. Please check it before returning the form so I can stage the first return limo. Here are the rules: We sit at round tables of 10. I ask that if you came with someone you know, you do not sit together, preferably at a different table. This is a super friendly group and you will meet some great people. Each person orders what they want from the menu and gets the first serving. Then the plate goes on a lazy susan for the table to share. Want more food/drink? Order more....but in the past there has always been plenty to go around and no one leaves hungry! A gratuity will be added and the ENTIRE cost of the bill for the table is rounded UP to a number easily divisible by the number of people at the table. In the past, the most expensive table has been about $25 for all you can eat and drink (beer and wine) including tip. None of this, "but you had two beers and all I had was egg rolls."
