I just launched a new designed web page. https://jbframing.com I just want to get some thoughts good or bad about it. It is set up to be regular computer or mobile so that is the reason for some of the sizes of print and photos. Thanks in advance for your comments both good and bad. Joe

    Passes all of my checkpoints:

    1. Address and phone very visible
    2. A call to action: "Please call to schedule your appointment."
    3. Visually pleasing
    4. When I do a Google search for, "picture framing blaine," you dominate!

Love the gallery, and the testimonials. I'd say you put a lot of work into it, and it will reward you handsomely.
You might want to include another email link, near the top of the page, or as a menu option. Also, move the map to page 1, or a clickable thumbnail of the map.

    Great job.

I agree with what Paul said.;)
We really need to update our own website after seeing yours.

    My only criticism....
Why are you only open 7 days a week?...o_O:p

Nice job. One point: your poster frame special says black frame, and the example is gold.

    Good point,Ted.
I'm not sure if the frame pictured is brown or gold but anyway..
It does say in the text that brown or gold option available at an extra fee, maybe the black frame should be shown in the picture or maybe not?
    A little up-selling in the picture possibly.o_O

    By the way, Joe.
You look very relaxed in the picture for a guy open 7 days a week.

    Hummmmmm...maybe because I'm a darn hard worker or I'm a sucker for punishment :rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes:

Thank you and Paul for the comments, I appreciate them. Many eyes are better than 1 when it comes to something like this.

Thanks Ted & Neil - that is exactly what I'm talking about with "many eyes are better than one" Never even thought of that, got to do a little rework:)

Yeah, you know that I've posted that I've been framing for 48 years now and I'm working harder than I was 10 years ago.
I always tell folks "I must really like what I do or there is something seriously wrong with me...o_O"

I tend to believe that I like what I do.;)

Are you always at the shop Mon to Sun 10 to 8? Or only when someone sets up an appointment? Just curious.

Yes, from 10:00 am to 8:00 pm every day I am for sure in the shop and making/keeping appointments during those times. When customers are not scheduled I am also working on framing projects, my days usually end well after mid-night. During the week not many appointments are made during the day unless it is commercial and/or the customer with the day off, retired, or on vacation. Most evenings from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm I have one or two appointments. Weekends usually get booked early because that is the free days for the working customers. That is my winter hours. My summer hours are the same except I do close on Monday & Tuesday unless a returning customer needs to come in for one reason or another and then I will set an appointment on my closed days, but that doesn't happen often.

The nice thing about having a shop that is strictly appointments is that if you do need time off your don't schedule appointments for those hours of the day, or that day, or even that week. Joe

There is no "Maybe" about it . But I can get really lazy now and then. The last time I can remember being lazy was back in 1987 or there abouts, just kidding, I have my lazy time every day. Us old guys need our beauty rest or in other words, A NAP ;)
