Looking for ideas on how to display some corner samples. Just starting out and working from my home at this point. I Currently have only about 100 Samples.
I don't have a wall to display them on as would/will in a retail shop. I'm thinking some sort of 12" wide board(s) - Maybe 4 Boards with 25 samples/board (roughly-frame widths will determine best fit). What should I cover boards with - whats the best material for velcro to attach to? Open to any and all other ideas. Thanks.

We use something like this.

Actually, this is what we use

Not sure if they still make this style, but the adjustable one should be useful.

I use 18x24" pieces of 1/8" Masonite. Just the right width for two rows of standard corners. Velcro adheres pretty good to the shiny side of the Masonite.

Just to be clear though, you are taking about moulding corner samples and not mat board samples.

I made a corner sample display on the back of a tall bookcase/storage cube unit. I bought car headliner fabric and glued it to the back side and put casters on the bottom. I can spin the whole thing around, tools and supplies on one side and corner samples on the reverse. It is a real space saver. the velcro sticks nicely and so far the fabric has held up very well.

I'm sorry - yes. I am referring to Moulding Coner Samples. Sorry Brian... I was not clear on that.

Not sure how I misread that.

For frame corner samples:
Velcro will stick to most carpet.

Larry Peterson mentions "Velcro adheres pretty good to the shiny side of the Masonite." I believe he means that the adhesive on the backside of many types of Velcro attaches to the shiny side of Masonite well.

We have this item on all of our sample walls: https://www.omegamoulding.com/product/detail/loop-fabric-black-60-x1-yd-4242-90688
It has help up well for the last 8 years.

For festivals, I made an A-Frame for displaying samples.
Basically it is 2 MDF boards(3 ft x 4 ft), wrapped in the above fabric, attached at their backs with hinges, and about a half way down with this style of hinge: https://www.homedepot.com/p/Everbilt-Bright-Brass-Lid-Support-Right-Hand-Hinges-19844/204485796
(It's a bit more complicated than that, as both panels can be removed for transport, and the A-Frame can still be set up)
Something like this may give you a way to temporarily display samples.

Here is an unusual (to me) style of tower display: https://www.skylinepictures.com/Frame_Shop_Equipment_ufe701_full.htm

Best of luck

I use panels that are 1/8" mdf with a fabric, designed to act as the loop for velcro, glued on with wrapped edges. They are 11 1/2" x 30" for standard samples and 17 1/2 wide for foot long samples. I don't remember the fabric, it was 24 years ago, but vecro's veltex looks about the same.

Thank your for stating that the way I should have.

Here is a typical Masonite board that I use.

This is what I meant (the ones for foot long samples are 17 1/2" wide). The velcro hooks stick directly to the fabric, no need for the loop strips.
