Does anybody know if CTD machines have gone out of business? I have used a CTD double mitre saw for years, and have not been able to access the ctdsaw website. Thanks.

I use a CTD D45 double mitre saw at work every day and I have for a number of years.
At a previous job, I used a D45AX for 14 years and I really like their saws.
The D45 AX has the pneumatic foot pedal rather than the manual foot pedal on the D45.
Otherwise, it's the same saw and they both have the lubrication spray ability for cutting metal frames although we only use the CTD for cutting wood moulding.
The lubricating spray for metal frames kind of makes a mess and we have another saw that we use just for metal frames to keep the mess away from the wood moulding.

Like you, I have tried to access their website today and there is something going on.
This is what I got...

They may be a done deal and they are gone.
If they are, it's too bad because I like their saws.
Maybe another company is taking over for them and I will check this out.

They are apparently still in business.
Did you try to call them? Possibly their web site is down?
Their phone number is 213-689-4455
I spoke to them and they say that their website is under construction.

When you call them you should say that the title page should read, "Under Construction, call us at 213-689-4455" and the lower pages should redirect to the home page until the site is done. Not very smart of them discouraging business that way.

two weeks ago I ordered some supplies, I was told they are in the process of moving to a larger location. That shouldn't effect their website.

Thanks for all the reply's. Their website is still down, but sounds like they are still in business.
