    Hey,

So I am moving to a larger location and need to see where you got your Customer design table at.
I am leaning toward a bar type height, but want a place to have my mat corners, easy to see and a pad for my cash reg. Help me out!

    Thanks everyone

    Sam

My design table used to be higher. I made it lower so even my petite customers can look easily at designs.

Ours is upright, at an angle, with the art held on by magnets.

Mine is 830mm high. I know that because I have just built another next to it. :D

If possible, I would locate the cash register elsewhere. Carp accumulates around the register and if you aren't a one-man band, you will have people around the register while you are trying to design.

    What’s a cash register? Lol

I agree. Keep your computer and stuff separate from your design table. I have a small corner receptionis desk for all financial transactions, including calculating prices

I made my counter using kitchen cabinets from the good will store and made my own Formica table tops.
The front side is cover with laminate flooring. Height is 35 1/2 top is 32 wide.

Great info, and I am using square on a pad for my cash reg. LOVE the pictures, helps with the thought process!
    Thanks everyone

Will do when I recover. Laid low by the creeping crud right now.
