Colibri Art and Framing is seeking a picture framer/designer to join our team in Morgan Hill. Candidates should have a good eye for color & design, possess strong selling skills, exude enthusiasm about their work, have a passion for art, and enjoy interacting with the public. You must be good with your hands, careful and meticulous, and organized. Strong verbal and written skills are a must. If this sounds like you, we’d love to talk with you!

This position involves greeting and designing with clients on the sales floor as well as backroom light production (cutting mats and glazing, proper handling of artwork, hinging/mounting of artwork, and fitting projects). Experience with computerized mat cutters and point of sale software is a plus. Basic math skills and the ability to work on your feet all day are requirements.

We promote a collaborative environment and have a team sales bonus structure in addition to a fair hourly salary based on experience level and ability. We are willing to train a serious promising candidate with strong selling and design skills that is willing to make a commitment to stay on the job for at least a year. We have plans to expand into a larger space with an added fine art gallery within the next two years. If a career in picture framing sounds interesting, we’d love to talk with you!

You must be available to work 5 full days a week, including Saturdays. Resumes are required and applicants that interview in person will be asked to complete skills tests. Look at our website prior to interviewing, colibrigallery.com to learn more about us. We give preference to well-prepared candidates. We hope to meet you soon!
