Hi Anne,Grahame, is that you in the picture playing the pipe. Do you play bagpipes also?
feel free to fan us, our ethos for the page is to make it asfriendly as if you were walking into the store. It is all a bit trial and error to be honest with you, never really considered using facebook as a conduit to seek out customers.Oh, by the way would you mind a fan from overseas? I just checked out your page and like what you are doing with it.
there you are.I am up to 99 fans - just...one...more...!
(Insert pleading Puss-in-Boots face from Shreck)
You have to change it yourself. Go to www.facebook.com/usernameWell now I have 103 fans and still with the long URL.....
Where's the magic?

Indeed - The 3/50 Project now has 51,000 Fans! I'm sure some businesses have even more. I agree that this is worth working a bit to compliment your paid advertising programs (NOT replace them.)surferbill said:... One local restaurant I'm a fan of has 1,600 fans. Free advertising to 1,600 people each week would be a powerful way to keep your name out there.
John, I've never even looked at Facebook etc before, let alone having an account.Still wondering because I'm not signed up to FaceBook. I click on my link that you pasted above and I go to the Facebook Sign-In Page. When I clicked on your link it takes me directly to your business page!
I can also navigate your links?
Indeed Les, but if you look back you'll see that this thread started in September 2009 - since then, many of us have gotten a better grip on this social networking giant. Paul N hits it on the head in that sometimes it can be simple as pie and other times FB is a real monster!realhotglass said:...Just clicked the link Kirstie posted, and it took me straight to your FB page. Copy that and you should be able to get anyone to your page....
