    Framing Goddess;
    you sound like you've worked in a lot of the same shops I have. Are you, by any chance from NJ?

    About the time things are going smoothly and the bottom drops out, remember that 'expert' as in 'great' etc, falls in line with the word assume. X IS REALLY NOTHING AND A SPURT IS NOTHING BUT A DRIP!

    (believed, but not true)
    1.) An expert is anyone from out of town.

    Never worked in NJ, but, hey, I've been there!

    There is no such thing as a framing emergency.

    The way I heard it an X is a has been and a spurt is a drip under pressure. How can people have something on a shelf in their closet for years and need it done yesterday? A friend has a sign I have been thinking of copying. Lack of planning on your part does not constitute an emergency on our part.

    In my mind an "expert" is a person who has stopped learning. I hope to forever be a student. [IMG]

    I always understood that someone from out of town who came to teach was called "An expert from afar" but what has really concerned me is the definition of an expert which I have heard is " An "x" is nothing and a "spurt" is a drip under pressure, I wish to ever be the student never the expert.

    So I'm walking by the checked in framed stuff and noice a really nice frame job of a Marlbro magazine ad.

    I comment: wow, nice job, but why are they framing a marlbro ad?"

    OOOPPPS

    Wrong side, supposed to be the magazine cover. Glad we didn't mount it.

    Rule: Always mark what side is facing up, and what way to wire.
