Question General framing and art info?

MGF, Master Grumble Framer
Hey all!

I guess I should start off by saying that I'm "new" ... kind of.. I was an active member several years ago and kind of got away from the Grumble. I've popped in and looked around a few times but haven't been active in a long time.

We are trying a new advertising venture that promotes Indie business locally. We are needing several "articles" that we can contribute that relate to framing and art, and we're trying to come up with some ideas of things to talk about that might interest potential customers.

We've got a list started but are kind of feeling "on the spot" about it and are looking for some good ideas, or some resources we can draw from. Part of the deal here is that the agency is supposed to put some stuff together for us because it's going to be a pretty demanding program for content so I'd love to have some good sites, etc that I can direct them to for information. (the point is for them to do it so that we don't have to)

thanks all, and it's nice to see some familiar names ;)

Not sure if this might be helpful and certainly don't have any links, but faced with the same dilemna I might gather staff and make a list of the Top Ten things we have to discuss with clients; things they need to know but don't. I'm pretty sure the source I would quote would be me. After all, I want that 'potential client' to think of me first, not the 'shop down the street'. Remember, you are suppossed to be the expert

Lastly, if I hired an agency, I would expect them to be 'creative;, not me. After all, they are suppossed to be the experts

hope that helps
