    Our good friend Bob Carter has often stated that not too many posters here have not come forth with hard numbers....figures that we can use to compare and analyse our business. This most recent thread on [thread=32102]INput on Opening a Shop, please![/thread] had some powerful comments and inspired me to put together this survey for those that want to really participate.

    What started people really posting was this comment...
    This gentleman may be truly able to now live on less than what he drew in his previous occupation, for the creative satisfaction of owning and running his own business...only he knows the answer to what he really needs to be "happy". But really, how are us independent types doing? How has the economy treated us these past two-three years? How much money do you take home at the end of the day?

    (I would suggest you do your numbers grunching first before guessing.)
