I skipped about 20 pages to reply about something similar that has been affecting my business in various ways. First I was told by one of my larger universities accounts that they have started using Florida Frames for 90% of their needs. Next I had a repeat customer shop my wall and buy from Florida Frames and had me do the nice dust paper finishing I do. It was very annoying, but I had to just be nice and do it. Maybe its a different thing? and I'm just whining. I have a huge amount of artist business, which means I work hard for what I get. FF sell a huge amount of LJ and its so much cheaper than I can offer. I just got a quote on Ferrosa 575252 for a 22 x 28 for $64.50. It takes a full 10' maybe more, length is $4.72= 47.00 + chop and join & profit, chop $7.61, join $10.65. I do it all myself, but if I were set up differently I would buy from them. My LJ rep seemed unaware?

Box price on that item is $3.30. Looks like they are charging 2x box price.

How bigs a box Jeff? 200'? So spend 660-700 so you can charge less than FF? You may make a profit on the wood you sell, but you're still sitting on 190' of wood.

Works for a good selling moulding, but not for a dog that sits there.

That box is 160'. The difference here is this is a regular business that has chosen this model rather than the manufacturer selling direct by using another name.

Documounts is now out of business as of Oct 12, 2012. What happened? Larson-Juhl was backing it.

October 12, 2012. The Documounts model was not as additive to the Larson-Juhl business as we
