That's right, you and the stand-by seven...talk about lap sitting!
Not me, I'm driving. So let me repeat ---->
Seven peeps in a Civic...let me digress.
What? The trunk is surprisingly roomy.
Last time I went to Vegas you had to drive over Hoover Dam. Because of 9/11 they were stopping every car before letting you pass.
Now with the new dam bypass I'm sure it must be a lot better. (haven't driven it though).
From what our favorite vendor rep informed me, it's not that spectacular... It's up and over anything eyecatching.
Are you going to Vegas?
I guess that's the point. The old over the dam route had great views but the speed limit was about 25 and there was lots of tourist traffic and it was stop and go.
The new bypass is designed to just get you to Las Vegas ASAP.
I would like to go but I'm buried in work (my boss is going).
I'm working 6 days and we've just combined 2 businesses into one with 2 locations.
I'm running one location and if I leave it has to close.
I spent a week on the strip at Paris Hotel in Vegas a few years ago and it was a trip. arty:arty:
Speaking of Civics and the Hover ####... On a trip to Vegas with two of my girlfriends, we rented a car about half the size of a Civic and drove to see the Hover ####. Vickie is taller than me, I'm 5'11, and Gail's considerably but... um... rounder. Not really sure how we fit the (too many) bags in, but I remember Gail having one on her lap.
Did I mention that it was spring break?? Not the brightest idea. We spent hours sitting in traffic. I think they took the car out back and shot it when we returned it. Thankfully the a/c held out, but it sure didn't sound good. But, the #### was awesome!!
You mean the Hoover Dam?
(when you spell it correctly you don't get censored... )
She just has a potty mouth.
I've been very pleased with my civic. Both my boys, oldest 18, youngest 14 and both being just shy of 6' say they have more room in the backseat then they did in my ford taurus. I've never had a car full of framers before so this will be interesting.
arty: OMG!! Sorry, very small screen and keyboard on my smarter-then-me-phone!! Can you get banned for being dumb? LOL
Erin, small cars get a bad rap. I had a Mini Cooper and loved it.
I still want to see Mary shoot off a machine gun.......
Swearing and shooting machine guns ... what is becoming of me?? LOL
Just made my reservation at the Platinum suite hotel, 1 mile away, but has a full kitchen w/ coffee maker , indoor pool, free gym and no resort fees, no casino, and no smoking, for $99.

Sue, is that per night or the whole to time?
That would be pretty low for 6 nights, but probably not unheard of in Vegas. Per night.
I think they meant do you get this every night or once per visit:
That's definitely $50 per night and only 1 coupon book for the visit. Last year it cost us $448 total for 2 people, 4 nights and RT flight at the Hilton. This year it is $679 for the same except at the Mirage.
