Whenever I see posts like this I always think....Have you asked your local distributors reps.
They will probably know better than anyone if someone is available in your area….

I didn't know that they may have some information on that. Will check with them, thank you!

    Yes!
It's not that they necessarily have specific information, it's just that the reps and even the delivery folks are at the shops often and sometimes the shops will mention that they are looking for someone or a worker might mention to a rep or delivery person that they are looking and the reps might be in touch with someone who is looking for a position.
The good thing is that the info about someone looking is within a circle of framers and reps.
    It's the networking thing.;)

Just putting out an ad for a framer, you may get someone who really has no experience but wants to try framing or someone who may be a problem for you.

Neil - absolutely spot on - well explained. I had forgotten to include the delivery folks. I now recall a canny old CEO many years (1960's) ago telling me " If you want to know bang up to date how a company is doing ask the delivery drivers,. They will give you a spot on appraisal as they know if they are busy or not, and how many loads they are delivering. " Probably doesn't apply today with computer organised deliveries to maximise the number of daily drops each does, But the drivers will still know the people who take in the packages and might just be aware of someone who is looking to move on.
