I am a new member ... I have already asked two questions ... But have not introduced my self ... I am Syd Conisbee ... (AKA Syd the framer ... Hence my Aol email address Of London England) ... My Framing Unit was located in Connaught Street ... London... Next to Hyde Park ... In the last Month ... I have been acquiring
A Morso Cutter which was rusty ... Plus extras ... With 2 sets of blades ( took it all apart and cleaned and oiled it) ... A Mat Cutter with a lot of extras ... A Seal 150 Dry Mount Press with a roll of dry mount tissue thrown in ( had the dirtiest platen I have ever seen ... SoI took it apart and cleaned and polished the platen Checked the wiring and the thermostat) ... A Brevetti Under Pinner ... (which has yet to be picked up ... Which I will take that apart and check it all out) ... Yesterday I bought a 60" Fletcher Terry Wall Mounted Glass/Card/Plexiglass Cutter (which arrived this morning ... Which I will take apart and check it through) ... The reason I have bought all this second hand equipment is that I have 70 pictures hanging in my house ... All of which could do with re matting and wash lining ... Plus when I sold my Business in London ... I did not sell my stock of 3000 unframed print all of which pre date 1890 ... So that's my Intro .. I am please to meet you all ... I will have some questions ... Thank you all ...

You'll find it helpful to know that Prospero is a pseudonym. His real name is Reginal P. Barth.

Does Syd know that you sell bloomers to pent-up ladies from the far side of North Upper Winkyshire? Or that you sell poodles without papers? If he did, he might think twice.
But, you do have a rather winning manner. Perhaps he can overlook these flaws and learn some tricks from a friendly framing wizard.

I just re-read his original post, and am amazed to learn he has 3000 prints from before 1890.
Perhaps you should pop over, (or up? or down?) to see them.
I have no idea where London is compared to you, but it's England, so it can't be that far.
Or he could drive, (or fly, or walk) to where you are, and see you paint, and meet the kitty.
