    One item in the Gemini range priced weirdly last night and I would appreciate if someone could confirm or check on G8123PE.

    Kindly advise as to what your POS software shows... Length Price / Chop Price / Joined Price. We were coming up with $13.29 / 21.10 / 28.13 which appeared incorrect as larger mouldings from the same family were half this cost. :-D

    Thanks,

    John

    My FrameReady comes up $ 7.30 length, $11.59 chop and the join field is empty.

    FrameReady has the number as G-8123PE.GM soft pewter fume with ribbed.

    Dave... my mistake!

    I gave you the pricing for 8123PE. The moulding I am having problems with is actually G8121PE. Please check again on that one.

    $ 5.57 length and $ 8.84 chop. No join price in FR for this one.

    John, it is kind of interesting that my pricing is different than Daves. $6.55 - L / $9.31 - C / & $12. 41 - C & J. My POS is LS - I don't know why Dave and I have a different price. I just updated on the 1st so I think mine is accurate. Hummmmmmmm:confused::confused:

    Mm-mmm I just checked my FR Gemini and the last update I did was Nov 2017. I thought maybe I missed an update but when I tried to do it again it said no update needed. Maybe they haven't gotten the update to FR yet?

    This isn't the first time I have seen a discrepancy. I have called into the vendor to find out whats going on several different times and was been informed that for some reason my update didn't take. I re-did the update the second time and all was better - like I said Hummmmmmmm.

    Joe and Dave,

    Honestly, I see a slight price difference on this one moulding when comparing Gemini to Fotiou... which is a bit of a surprise.

    Regarding my original problem....it turns out the the moulding is listed twice in the Gemini database... Once as GM-G8121PE and also in there as GM8121PE. Sometimes, they will keep the old number as not to mess with those using it still. However in this case, the old number was way out of wack with respect to pricing.

    Universal Arquati had this problem for a while, and may still have it. When the two companies merged, they gave new UFP numbers to all of the Arquati mouldings. I simply mean they took AR1234 and made a UFP1234. But they did not delete the old Arquati numbers, I assume for the same reason. However, new pricing updates were only updating the UFP numbers, not the AR numbers. This meant while my pricing was out of date almost immediately, it was about 6 months before I realized it and figured out what was going on. I contacted Universal Arquati about the problem at that point, and they were kind enough to credit me back the difference between the Arquati listed price and the Universal listed price. Then I switched all of my moulding numbers to the new UFP numbers.
