Please dig up the numbers and come back later to these polls to make them accurate.

Only 11 people answered John's question?

Did it tell you anything John!!!!!!

I voted according to the store i've had for 10 years. the newer one was up25or so last year and running at about 65 this year. but like i tell those i love 65% increase on $2.50 doesn't mean much.

I think if you want more ersponses this should get bumped more often...this is the first I have noticed this thread.

2007 was way over 2006, and 2008 (so far) is waaay over 2007!

I'm a happy camper!

(Of course, as Bob often chided me, when your business is real small huge percentages aren't worth anything... but I'm happy anyway.)

A bit scary...

Cliff,

This poll (which is actually one of 4 on hard numbers) has drawn 21 votes as of 6/30/08 while the poll asking about updating your profile has drawn 85 votes.

Do people just not want to share some real numbers on growth and profitability with others? Do they just not know?

Critics will often make statements about these discussion forums being all "fluff" and I will retort that good ideas are extracted from them. At the same time, I am a little concerned when what pictures and wallpaper you have on your profile takes center stage over business analysis. (Oh...now I'm sounding a bit like Bob Carter)

Ok, I didn't see the other threads, so now I've voted.

This first quarter - total income (as per QB) is up more than 40%; and gross profit is up more than 50%.

And net? Even I don't believe how much it's up!

Reasons? We're turning stuff out quicker. My CPA has told me for years that if I got to where I could cut into that backlog, I'd be amazed at the income. (And I am!)

Come On - not many voted yet!!!!!
