Some stuff...

Gene Simmons Kiss guitar that we framed.
He actually played it on stage, not a knockoff.
The moulding was made from scratch and the bass guitar had fake blood on it...

I thought that it was interesting that the bass guitar has fret marker dots on the top area of the neck but there were one inch painted lines from the fret marker dots to, I guess, make it esier to see the fret markers on stage.

I'm stretching a large canvas (or is it stretching me?).
Faking the pose, of course.:p
I know that it's upside down...:D (or maybe I am..)
About 72" x 112" gallery wrap with no frame.
This was one of about 10 very large canvases that I stretched last week.
All gallery wraps and some had floater frames, part of a 120 piece order for one client.

A tapestry that we framed with LED back lighting...

We have more than doubled the size of the shop and we have a laser cutter, a new printer along with plexi and dibond mounting capabilities now.

We took over an auto shop behind us and we've converted areas into production for the frame shop.
(sorry, we don't do brake jobs or valve jobs...)

Here is the area where we are putting in the laser and printer.

what was the substrate you used with the tapestry?

It's a little hard to describe, I wish I had more pictures.
There is plexi with a double laminate and a Fome Cor kind of float mat that the tapestry was stitched to involved in this.
If I can find more pictures I will post them.

We can laminate, laser cut, etch and print large format stuff now as well as the framing and design...;).
I just finished a huge job for a design company that we work with.
I've mentioned before that I used to work with the lady who owns and runs the company with her 4 other designers.
When I cleared the orders from them in Lifesaver that I finished, the entire workload for June disappeared...:D
But..., July is already full...

I forgot to mention that the Gene Simmons frame that we made from scratch was wrapped and covered with a leather wrap so it was actually like a closed corner frame.

Great work. Did you sew the rug fringe down, use mylar strips, or some other method? Was it an acrylic overlay right on the piece, or were there spacers?

Actually, it was a drugged out homeless person who was smashing windows all over the area.
We have security cameras as did other businesses that were vandalized.
Didn't steal anything, just went around smashing windows creating thousands of dollars in damage.
The Police caught him.
The front looks like this now..

When the picture framing reality show hits the tube, it will be based on your shop.

Fantastic work, Neil!

I had to make Rob's head a little big to disguise Irvine's prominent ears. (I guess I could have cloned the ears out, but I thought the head size looked more dramatic.)
Besides, Rob is a swell guy.

 Rick
