There is a design counter ... it's hiding under the clutter!! LOL
In the second photo you can see it, but there is a bunch of junk on there. People keep coming in with art and I keep having to move all the junk, lol.
AND, you don't see the digital side of the shop. It really looks like a bomb went off. Better now that the new computer came in and I was able to catch up the book work, but I don't think it will stay as neat as I'd like it.
Getting little things done every day. Must open soon, the natives are restless (great problem to have!).
Congratulations Mary, looks great. If you're hiring I can still relocate.
I have two dogs now and they're eating me out of house and home.
All kidding aside, good luck to Starfish and best wishes to you and your family.
Here are some shots of the inside. Things are coming together but nowhere near 100%. I think I will be getting everything right until the day I decide to change things around, lol!
BTW, anyone working on opening, OPEN!! I still am not ready, but for some reason now that I'm open it seems so much less stressful. I know that only makes sense in backwards world, but it is the truth!!
OH, flowers are from my wonderful sis. One of the few things I miss from FL ...
Ha, haaa ... I'm pretty sure I set fire the rug when no one was looking.
Scout's bed is out in the "man room" aka shop. He drags it out into the driveway and sun if the garage door is open.
He has the run of the joint, but AJ made cute little swinging doors to keep him in the digital area or the shop when customers are in the store. He can see under and over the doors. Shoot, he can go under or over the doors, but he stays because he's a good dog.
The other day a lady was standing right in front of the door. I looked down and Scout had his head stretched under the door and was licking her shoes!! LOL, she was non the wiser. I only wish I could have taken a photo of that!!
Great looking store, Mary - very warm and inviting. You both have done a lot of work and it shows. I especially like the darker brown colour that you have on the one wall - it reminds me of milk chocolate. I wish you much success!
