Looks awesome! Lots and lots of work is paying off. Thanks for sharing.
Looking great ! I know you and AJ are working soooo very hard, but it really looks like Scout is working the hardest - must be day and night..... He keeps his bed right in the shop... LOL!
Good one Gail!! Yes, Scout is a workaholic. But he does tend to lay down on the job!
The place is looking terrific!!
Wow, the inside is so gorgeous! People will be floored whe they come in and see how beautiful the space is...
Is the design counter built yet? I didn't see a place for customers to lay out their art.
One thing you are missing...clutter. Not a proper frame shop without clutter.
Lookin good...makes me miss the day my shop was, well, organized...It's never been pristine.
There is a design counter ... it's hiding under the clutter!! LOL
In the second photo you can see it, but there is a bunch of junk on there. People keep coming in with art and I keep having to move all the junk, lol.
AND, you don't see the digital side of the shop. It really looks like a bomb went off. Better now that the new computer came in and I was able to catch up the book work, but I don't think it will stay as neat as I'd like it.
Getting little things done every day. Must open soon, the natives are restless (great problem to have!).
We are officially OPEN!! Yippy!!
Office is not 100%, still lots to do, but close enough! Bring on the work!
(We've already had orders from last week and I had a digital print customer today!)
I'll get some inside photos soon ...
WOOOOOOOHOOOOOO!!! Congrats Mary! Wishing you nice and good customers!
I'm so excited for you!
HOOORAY! Good luck!
Where will the webcam be placed?
The shop looks fantastic!!! Good luck to you.
Congratulations, Mary and AJ!! You've put an awful lot of work into the place and it's gorgeous. I hope you'll have many prosperous years there. Great Job!!!
Congratulations Mary, looks great. If you're hiring I can still relocate. :icon11:
I have two dogs now and they're eating me out of house and home.
All kidding aside, good luck to Starfish and best wishes to you and your family. :icon21:
I'm smiling to think of all the good times you're going to
have there. Glad to hear you already have some work in.
Here are some shots of the inside. Things are coming together but nowhere near 100%. I think I will be getting everything right until the day I decide to change things around, lol!
BTW, anyone working on opening, OPEN!! I still am not ready, but for some reason now that I'm open it seems so much less stressful. I know that only makes sense in backwards world, but it is the truth!!
OH, flowers are from my wonderful sis. One of the few things I miss from FL ...
Spacious, glossy, gleaming, delightful, well-thought-out, beautiful, wonderful!!!
Go get 'em!!!
Mary, what became of that slip and fall rug? Come to think of it, where is Scout's bed?
Ha, haaa ... I'm pretty sure I set fire the rug when no one was looking.
Scout's bed is out in the "man room" aka shop. He drags it out into the driveway and sun if the garage door is open.
He has the run of the joint, but AJ made cute little swinging doors to keep him in the digital area or the shop when customers are in the store. He can see under and over the doors. Shoot, he can go under or over the doors, but he stays because he's a good dog.
The other day a lady was standing right in front of the door. I looked down and Scout had his head stretched under the door and was licking her shoes!! LOL, she was non the wiser. I only wish I could have taken a photo of that!!
I can so see him doing that.
Here's another one I found for you.
Mary, I think that was just a taste test. He might have a discerning palette.
Great looking store, Mary - very warm and inviting. You both have done a lot of work and it shows. I especially like the darker brown colour that you have on the one wall - it reminds me of milk chocolate. I wish you much success!
Congratulations, It is a great looking shop. It does take a lot of work but as you know, this will be "home" for awhile. Sarah and I wish you continued success!
Thanks for sharing the photos.
The place looks great! Lots of hard work paying off.:thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup:
Congratulations and I wish you all the best.
Love this pic of Scout with your open sign...
Now if you only can get him to take that sign and do this........
