If your shop is not doing well or mediocre then some might say "Whatever your doing now, stop it, and do the the opposite" The only way to attract new customers or those top end customers is to know what they want. Star by going to the high end business from each section There is always one shop who is more expensive then their competitors. Be it a restaurant, electrical goods, kids clothing etc. look at their promotion and marketing strategies. When people buy something with them, do they get personal details that they may use for direct marketing. Do they do follow up calls. etc Just this week we started using facebook and sent an email campaign for the first time. We are going to try and embrace the technology to attract the younger market. I would love to go to one of Kristie's seminars on all this, as it is quite new for me. The thing about facebook, twitter, tumblr etc, is that they are free to setup and do (just some time). Doing something, anything is better then staring at the door.
