P.S. As someone mentioned, I too would vote for bringing back a link to the poster's website if that option is available. Thanks.

Rick, you can just click on the poster's name that is underlined on the left hand side of the post, and it will bring up options to view the poster's homepage, send a private message, etc.

Framer tg: You've done a wonderful job with the new site. Haven't checked it out fully yet, but what I see, I like :D .

So far, I don't find it any slower than the old site.

I love the look and functionality of the new Grumble, but it sure does run slow. It's a bit frustrating waiting for the windows to pop in. I'm on a high-speed cable connection, so I'm assuming it may be the programming slowing it down? Anyone else have the same problem?
It does seem faster this morning. There must have been an elephant blocking a trunk line somewhere last night.

It does run a bit slower than the old Grumble, but it's acceptable compared to last night's crawl. :D

Great job Bill!!

The only thing I can't get to operate correctly is my animated GIF penguin. But I'll figure it out in due time.

I am too busy playing around with all the new buttons and stuff.

This is almost like unwrapping the last toy on Christmas morning!! You rip off all the paper in record time on everything and then pick the favorite of them all to play with first!

This is great

This is so exciting - I am hoping this works - when I went to the reply screen at the end it would not let me type anything in as a Quick Reply so I am anxious to see if this gets on the thread...

thanks for all the hard work I know it is going to be great

This is another test...it wouldn't let me log on earlier, then it did, but wouldn't let me reply, so I'm trying it again.

This is cool.

You can quote from mutiple posts by clicking on the +" tab and then clicking on the regular quote tab for the last one you want to quote.

You can still go through and edit the portions of the posts thatr you don't want to include.

Bharat, I have the same message. I joined in Nov. '05. and mine says the same date as yours, December '69, so I'd've been ...uh...very young then. I thought maybe I'd been here in another life, but apparently it's just a quirk that we haven't figured out how to fix yet...at least not me. I guess when it bugs me enough, I'll ask how to fix it! (it's probably already been explained, but I'm too lazy to go looking for it right now!)

Other mysteries I guess we'll figure out with time....but pretty cool, like someone earlier said, kinda like opening up a new toy and playing with it!

The 1969 problem is fixed when you reset your time zone on the User CP panel. Or at least I think that's how I did it. I mean, after I set the correct time zone the 1969 went away.

My theory is that the creator of the software was born on that date in 1969, or perhaps that is his parents' wedding date??? My parents got married on December 31 at midnight (my mom said so my dad would never have the excuse to forget their anniversary!).

Yep, Mar, that did it. So much for that former life (Although I still believe I had it!), back to the present, which is where I should stay anyway. Thanks!
