Hi all, the bevel blade on my F-2000 is cutting nearly 1/16 inch away from the edge of the clamp. Is there an adjustment I can make on the cutting head to move the blade closer to the edge of the clamp? I dont have a manual so if it is explained there, I cant access it. Btw, if anyone knows where or how I can obtain a manual please let me know.
Thanks, Gordon

If I understand your question correctly, I'd say the answer is no. The spacing of about 1/16" seems normal, based on my own experience with my trusty, old F2000 machine. But even if you could shift the blade position, that might not work out well, since the cutting head's path is determined by the round bar on which it rides, which might not precisely follow the edge of the clamp.

Using the measurement stops yields perfect results if they are set-up correctly, so I'm guessing you like to cut your mats using pencil lines, instead. With a bit of practice, you can get used to aligning the cut-line with the blade and not the edge of the clamp.

Thanks so much for the reply and info. It's much appreciated. My Logan 650 mat cutter bevel blade is adjustable and so I thought the F2000 would be also. What I will do now is determine the gap size between the blade and the mat guide and add it to mat guide measurement.

I do use production stops and I have to say cutting mats on this 32 year old mat cutter is a pleasure!

All the best!
