Musty Smell

I have a 60 yr old comic book to frame in such a way that it can be easily removed as desired. No problem doing that.

The paper is yellowed and smells musty. I don't see mold.

I will use UV glazing but I have no expectation that I can stop the aging process (acid?).

I would like advice about the musty smell. Any chance to mitigate or eliminate?

Not enough of a budget nor is it valuable enough to warrant expert conservation work.

I thought exposure to sunlight removed that. But you’ll have to wait until April or May .
