Nielsen 35 is 2" deep. For those of you who use it, have the corners stayed together on large frames?
This one would be 40 x 42", and it's a stretched canvas that fills the depth. Thanks.

You'll probably have to bend the corner hardware a bit to assure the front of the frame comes together. Think of dihedral like an airplanes wings.
Thanks, Greg. I've done this several times in the past, but hadn't thought of it, here. :)

Staple trick to shim the corners.... see pics.

Cut a T50 staple in half, loosen corners and insert as shown, retighten corners.
The corner hardware should bend the perfect amount.
Thanks!

Another thought is to place the hanging hardware on the stretcher so there are no torsion forces on the frame. Using a cleat in the upper rail would be OK, but hanging from side rails of the metal frame could cause a twist.

Not the Twist as in Chubby Checkers at the Peppermint Lounge "Doin' the Twist", but the other one.
