A customer brought in a jigsaw puzzle today that was held together by some sheets of self-adhesive backing paper called "Puzzle PRESTO!" I have never seen this product before. She said her son managed to flip the puzzle over and then applied this to the back. She said they bought it online. Ordinarily I flip the puzzle by sandwiching it between two sheets of masonite or thick cardboard taped together at the edges, and then use hi-tack self adhesive foamcore for mounting. This keeps it together and gives it structure. This material still allows flexing of the puzzle, so it must be handled carefully until framed, but it does seem to keep the pieces together.

I've had one customer bring in a puzzle with the same or similar adhesive sheet.
Seems to work well.
We mounted that "pre-adhered" puzzle to mountcor with no issue (at least none that I have been made aware of).

Works well. Customer brought in a puzzle backed with something called “No Stress No Mess Puzzle Saver”.
I glued it to HDF using white glue, framed it without glass. Then I went out and bought a pack of it, glued up my own puzzle, and I’ve been throwing it around since Christmas. Haven’t lost a piece.

I've recently had a few puzzles come in that mod podge or some such thing had been brushed on the back to hold them together. They still didn't lie flat though, had high spots in places so I tried mounting to MountCor. It helped, but whatever was brushed on the back didn't bond well with the MountCor, I had to put them in a couple times and still with a little pressure could lift a corner. I did use MountCor for canvas as it has a stronger bond.

I've used perfect mount to mount puzzles. It works very well and is really easy. Once you stick it down to the PM you can either put eights on it ore put it in a press for awhile. I've done several over the years and have never gotten anything back. It's a whole lot easier than glue of any kind.
