Question Three snake skins to frame

I had some customers come in the other day wanting their three snake skins put into a frame, the longest is about 3 feet. This is my first time working with such an item and while excited I very much don't want to mess this up. I work for a corporation so I'm limited on what I can bring in from the outside but I'm looking for any advice I can get.

Are these shed snake skin (translucent), or the full skin of a snake?
My wife works with Reptiles, so I have framed a few shed snake skins, by carefully sewing them to the backer.
Magnets may also work if you can find a way to hide them.

If they are full snake skins, then they would likely need to be prepared as a leather before work was done to them.
Sewing would also seem to be appropriate.

They are full snake skins that I believe have already been prepared, they have an almost rubbery feel to them

Will they be displayed as flat skins, or in a tube shape?
A tube shape would allow you to hide your work better.
