In addition to the frames I sell online, I also sell Acrylic. Over time I have received a number requests from folk that want to build their own Acrylic Sandwich frames.

Most of these folk have no idea what they need to do. Most think its about the same as the "its just 4 sticks of wood" argument.

After going back and forth over the last couple of days with the latest "expert", I decided to create a page on this subject on my site and plan to steer any future "experts" to the page. You can see the page at https://www.thepaperframer.com/sf.php

I haven't indexed the page in my menus yet as it is a WIP.

I welcome your review, critics, comments and criticisms. I especially need some help with the section on mounting as I don't have much experience with mounting in acrylic frames. Help. o_O

I don't want to alienate any customers but I also want them to realize exactly what they are getting themselves into. Thanks.

Thanks to Shayla for for spell checking and pointing out some mistakes.

She also mentioned not installing them where humid. Any other thoughts on that? Should I include that.

BTW, when this is finished, feel free to use it or steal from it if you want.

Happy to help. You do have a pretty amazing site. Just now brought up some menus, and you have a lot of helpful info. on there.
On your changeable frames, do people buy them to put whole newspapers in? Do you have just turnbuttons on the back, or something else? I'm imagining you must be lining the frames somehow, when the art is touching them?

I covered most of that in this thread: http://thegrumble.com/index.php?threads/stickers-on-dust-cover.82209/#post-1058268 plus I use turn buttons on the back. As shown in the post, the ephemera is encapsulated in a 4 mil Mylar sleeve.
