Looks like the Frameready update for Bainbridge I recieved this morning is bad. The "B" is missing in front of the item number making the program want to mark ALL the item numbers as not verified and replace them with numbers without the"B". I've notified Frameready and hopefully they sent a correct update soon. I'm thinking it's best to wait for the fixed update so inventory isn't messed up.

Rick, I apologize that you're seeing the problem. I notified our developer as soon as we realized that happened. It does make a mess of things, but we do our best to correct it as quickly as possible. I'm hoping that it will be reflecting properly within the next day or so. Thank you for being so patient with us as always.

I nearly pulled and destroyed hundreds of samples.
Is the newest update incorrect?

If the newest update is incorrect, please email all Frame Ready customers and let them know.

When I am ready to install a vendor update, I always click the "Analyse" button first, to see if there are any price increases, and if so, what percentage.
Then I just look at the listed information to make sure all the familiar info is there, such as the item type (mat, moulding, filet, etc.) AND that the item numbers look correct. If you do this for the current Bainbridge update, you will see that there is no "B" before the mat numbers. That is your clue.
I waited to install that one, until it is corrected.

I have heard mention of this analyze button.
Where would I find that?

When you click on the vendor's name in the list, it will bring up the window with the list of items included in the update. The Analyse button should appear on that screen near the top. Clicking it either opens a new window with price changes listed, or if there are no changes it will tell you so. Close that before clicking Proceed to install the update.

When I click on the name it starts the update.
In a previous thread Nikodemus mentioned that there is a button to turn on the ability to get the Analyze button "somewhere".
As it's a feature I've never seen, I have no idea if it's a useful feature, and thus no Tech Support call.

When I get to work today I'll try to figure out where I found the setting to allow the analyze option.
Basically the software default settings assume the user would rather allow the program to take care of the vendor update without intervention.
At least it seems that some peoples installation came that way.

I'm pretty sure the option to change that setting is in one of the menus somewhere.

Found it!
Click the grey "Options" button to the left any of the vendors on your list.
Choose NO to "Process Unattended".

You may have to first select NO to "Print list of Not Verified".

Now when you update a vendor you will get a new pop up menu as described in posts above allowing you to Analyse, and to view changes on screen, and decide which (if any) update reports you want to print.

I just added a new vendor, and this worked for me.
