   ATTENTION PROCRASTINATORS: YOU HAVE ABOUT A WEEK AND A HALF LEFT!!! JUNE 30TH IS THE LAST DAY TO GET THEM IN!!!

We still need entries in all categories!! I would like to have at least 5 entries for each category if possible!!

HERE'S A LIST OF THE CATEGORIES AGAIN:

Details:
There will be plenty of categories for you to enter in and win; here are seven categories in which you can enter:
(1) Objects/Shadowboxes
(2) Art/prints on Canvas
(3) Decorator Prints
(4) Limited Editions
(5) needlework/textiles
(6) collages
(7) other /weird stuff not mentioned

In the case that there are fewer than five entries for some of the categories I will do a combination: 1 and 6 will be combined, 3 and 4 will be combined, and 2, and 7 will be combined… unless later decided other combinations would be better.

Here's a clear up on the entries:
(1) Objects/Shadowboxes = 6
(2) Art/prints on Canvas = 2
(3) Decorator Prints = 5
(4) Limited Editions = 0
(5) needlework/textiles = 2
(6) collages = 1
(7) other /weird stuff not mentioned = 0

How about a limited edition collage?

hmmm... Less brings up a question that has been coming up for all the entries... that is entries that can be in more than one category. I've been letting the person entering pick which one they would like to enter it in for those cases.

Well everyone, Next week is the very last chance you have to enter your pictures!! I think some combining of categories are in order since there are a few with less than 5... but I'm thinking that as long as there are two in each category we will leave them alone. There have been some more entries since my last post on here, but I still need to figure out which categories they go into so there will be an update tonight on that! I can't wait for you all to see them!!!!
Well, that's it for now!!
Angie

Rats...

Count me out. I just let the project go without photographing it. Client just told me it is an etching.

It was a great stack, Museum glass, matted under frame so it looks like an oil.

Oh well ... sorry.

Good luck - great idea.

Imaluma, there has been a mixup at the registrars office.

Normally you would vote in the state of your residence, or in the case of people who live in a different country and work in another then they get two half votes for the popular choice and you would qualify if the voting was to fall on the third Thursday after the second Sunday of a fourth month.

But it has come to our attention at the registrars offices that you never files a San Francisco or California absentee ballot form #149-326H.124P, and in accordance to the strict residencey rules of engaging personallities that just begged to be teased, you are also not ready willing and able to vote in your new chosen location of St Louis or MO, due entirely to the lack of nill consumption of Blue Moon ale.

So, for the entire voting process to stay in compliance, we must ask you to retreat to the indian reservation just northeast of Carson City or in the state of Nevada and vote from such location that your engram entiger will read as transatory.

If this is obfuscated to your understanding, eschew any rememdiation and vote accordingly.

Thank you

Office of Luma Registration to Voting.

Leave it to Baer to bring some real fun here!!

Okay everyone!!! Today is the last day!!!! Get them all to me!! I have tons of photos now, so this is going to take me a long long time. It seems they all came in at once. I may not be able to do the polls until tomorrow because I have this feeling I'll be posting pictures until late tonight!! Here's what's going to happen. I will start a thread in the design section and show the entries in each category. Each entry will have a number and the description sent by each person, after the voting and judging has ended, I will post the name of each person who entered. All of you who want to vote for popular choice, even those who participated will write down the number that's your favorite in each category and vote in the polls for popular choice. The Judges will try to have everything scored by the night of July 5th and we will post the results sometime next week. When everything is over, the winners will send me their addresses and real name (or shop name/ whatever they prefer on their winning certificate!!) via email or message and I will send this information to our wonderful sponsers!!! All of you who couldn't send anything till later on... well guess what... I promised a friend I would help her move today so get them to me by 9pm central time because I won't be able to do anything until at least 9:30pm... I'll get as much done as I can before my hubby gets home (11:30) but after that... I'll have to finish it in the morning. I'm hoping to have all the entries posted by tonight and maybe a poll.

GOOD LUCK TO ALL!!!!!!

jUST another note: I noticed that I recieved a message in my profile from someone because I got the notification in my email but there was no actual message in my profile. so if you have sent me something and I have not replied please send it again by tonight at 9pm!!

What time is the deadline?

Oh yeah, and I get singled out for my humor. Leave it to a REAL Canuk to slip the knife in there between the two humor bones, twist and saw.... :D

For you HB, we'll make an exception of last week.

Angie - you done real good girl, we'll gladly "bare" with you - as long as we don't have see Jerry "bare." (You been reading Baer's posts too long! LOL!)

Queen of Cute, and Princess of Perky,

Will we get the opportunity to know whose work we voted for? It'd be nice to be able to put a face with the framing. Sorta make the 'crowd' closer. I will begin to vote as soon as I figure out how!

You took on a big job, and have done an excellent job, Angie! You are to be commended!!

Yes you will Charles, and thank you. Those who submitted will be announced after the judging and polls are over with. ...Those who entered please do not tell anyone what is yours, we want this to be fair voting and judging!! I will be very P*ssed if this happens!! I mean it!!

Besides that thank you everyone who has submitted I will say it again... I am AMAZED!!

Are there any plans to do this again???

Now that was a nasty trick HB, I thought the old Angie was back.

It would be nice, but you know how it is, they grow up, get disallussioned, go into shrinking, stop being active.

I will ask Angie (when I see her....hmm, I'd better e-mail her as I don't get to see her often) if she intends to volunteer to do this again, but I'm pretty confident that the answer will be "No". Her new job keeps her very busy--more hours than the 40 they estimated on the front end.

However, I think that the competition should become an annual event, and could feasibly escalate into a grand scale competition (NO, I am not volunteering to chair the event). I hope that someone will take the reins and carry on the tradition. I loved seeing the entries--much inspiration!

I am offering same kind of support like last time when Angie did a wonderful job at "inventing the wheel". It shouldn't be that difficult to spin the thing again.

Barb, as an International Grand Champion that can do Herculian things... I would think that you would be the perfect person to make chair..... after all, you made the easel. LOL
