I am looking for someone whole can do a knock out job printing glicees on either paper or canvas.
Been married over a year and we still don't have a picture from our wedding...
Pretty bad a framer does not even have a wedding picture.

I have inquired locally and there is nothing.

Any online resources other than fineprintexpress.com?

Any fellow grumblers do this sort of work?

For what it is worth I have 15-20mb RAW files.

Howdy neighbor. Drop me an email with size and such.

Carry on.

Hi,

Doug Vieu (A fellow grubmler [dvieu]) has a photo lab in his store and does this sort of thing quite a bit. You should give him a holler and see what he can do for you.

Not to take work away from these fellow Grumblers that have step forward.

But Digital Custom comes to mine. They are for more than just restoration of photos. They do some high quality printing on all sorts of art papers as well as canvas. Just thought I would throw that out there since you asked.

Thanks for the help!
I too thought about digital custom, and they do great work, just thought I may give some money to a grumbler : )
Jay - IM sent.
Thanks

Jeff with Digital Custom has only posted a few times, but he is a sponsor of the Grumble.

Anybody shopped their print prices? Its almost full retail. If you don't have any choice, I guess you do what you gotta do. I'm really glad they sponser this forum and I would like to give their restorations a big thumbs up! But printing...it doesn't see to me they are as serious about printing as restorations.

As a side note they have also begain printing everything. I think I'm accurate about this but they are no longer doing any chemical processed photos at all. Everything is shot out of a printer. This will sound weird from somebody who prints but I have moved to having photos developed by more traditional means. Printed photos just don't hold up. When you get up to larger sizes, they are all printed and so it doesn't matter. But for smaller stuff I'm using a photo lab with much better results. The biggest downside is that I do believe that prints from pigment ink does last longer but doesn't look as good.

We all appreciate sponsors of the Grumble. But looks like a happy solution was found with a fellow Grumbler, AND they live in the same state. What's wrong with that.... I say nothing. Jay does great work and takes his work seriously as a photographer and printer. I'm sure Steven will be very happy with the results.
